Everstart still had not reached out since I wrote this letter. I finally reached out to the store manager and he sent me an E-Mail stating that due to the evidence there is nothing they can do.

the evidence clearly shows that the batteries, were bad, but since Wal-Mart does not have the battery everstart says they can't do nothing. Wal-Mart says since all they did were to sell us the batteries then they are not liable.

Just a bunch of BS if you ask me. Can not get in touch with any body at the corporate office.

2 week in april a buddy and I went to the lake to fish that week, we do a fish fry for the church at the end of the week, been doing it for years, any way we both needed cranking batteries for our boats, went to Walmart and bought everstart cranking batteries, size m24. by the end of the first day both batteries were dead.

took them back and they tested bad. they replaced them. next day same thing, my buddy went down to the local marine and bought an interstate. my dad was coming up to fish with me the next day so I had him bring me a battery that we had just bought for our john boat.

by the end of that day both boat were dead again. I knew we had a major problem. I put my boat in the shop the next morning, mechanic called and said the charging system wiring harness was shorted out and the alternator was also shorted out. called my buddy and he took his boat to the same mechanic and he had the same issue.

mechanic said that either the battery had a short in it or the polarity was reversed. filed a claim with Walmart, claim department said they were not responsible because they didn't damage the battery. they sent the claim to Johnson battery company and they told me that with out the battery they would not pay the repair bills. they know that Walmart has the batteries recycled.

looks like we will have to go to small claims court to get our money back. $1254.00

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $1154.

Preferred solution: Full refund.
