Original review updated Oct 21, 2024

Bought a new battery 4 months ago at Kingston Walmart in NY. 3 months in my car started showing signs on voltage drops when driving and starting my radio and clock resets.

All my connections are clean and tight.

Brought it back to Walmart because it failed a reserve capacity/ low cranking health at autozone. They blew off that test. One guy from the auto center said go to Advance auto and do a full system check. Starter is fine and also alternator

Battery failed again for same thing.

Walmart put it on their so called tested for 30 minutes came back said that the battery is fine. Denied looking at the Advance auto check. They said " if our test said it's good it's good and we can't do anything about it ".

We'll see what a lawyer can do about it . Everstart told me to go to a different Walmart.

Note; I'm 2 hours either direction from another Walmart.

Had two more test done on the battery and again failed. There's a bad cell in the battery but because it's showing 12v on Walmart test which they may have tinkered with. They don't want to exchange under warranty so I'll let the court handle it.

Take my money and go elsewhere. D

The majority of the products are what I call knock-offs. I have two batteries that are no good; barely used marine Everstart Maxx, which the group size, CCA, amp, etc., doesn't match to, per say, other of the same kind of batteries.

About 2.5 years ago I bought a new Ever Start Max battery from Walmart and installed it in a 1990 GMC Suburban which is used for a snow removal vehicle only. After 2 years the battery with a 3 to 5 year warranty was bad due to the test done by Walmart and they honored the warranty and replaced the battery with a new Ever Start Max that had a 3 year warranty.

I put it in Surbuan and parked it in my garage on 10-05-24. On 1-07-25 I was going to move the vehicle and clean the floor but the battery was dead and wouldnt start. I disconnected the terminals and put my battery charger on and on slow charge let it on to about 8 hours. On 1-8-25 I tested the battery and it tested negative, so I took the battery out of the vehicle and took it to Walmart and they also tested the battery and seen the battery was bad.

The battery was never used but they said they would not replace it, and said the warranty had ran out.

Apparently the battery was a bad battery that had been on the shelf. I had paid $173.09 for that no good battery, now tell me is that fair?

Warranty on car Battery

I'm trying to get the warranty on a car battery I purchased in March 2023, and it has a five-year warranty on it, and I had to replace it today. Walmart told me I had to call a number, which I did, but it will not connect me to any agents to speak to.

I would like to find out what to do to claim the warranty on this car battery I had to replace.

After finding out how hard it is to get my warranty on the EverStart battery, I will not be purchasing another one again after the one I just purchased to replace my other one goes. There needs to be a way to contact the company to get the warranty, but there isn't any, so you're screwed to get the warranty.

  • You cant get the warranty done on it cause noone to contact

User's recommendation: Get a Battery that has a contact number for their warranty just in case something needs to be done

My ever start charger started burning while charging my car, almost caught car on fire. Thank God my husband was there and pulled it off really quickly or the whole car would have went up in flames. I received it as a gift about a year and a half ago so I do not have a receipt to present you I will send photos

Battery

The battery is 1 year old. What's the warranty?

Only a year old and I'm out $100 because of garbage manufacturing.

You will be buying the worst battery on the market and you will be disappointed, unless you just need to jump start your hoopty. I would definitely not recommend this product unless you want to be broken down on the highway.

Battery warranty/out of stock for replacement

EverStart - Battery warranty/out of stock for replacement
EverStart - Battery warranty/out of stock for replacement - Image 2

On 11/8/23, I bought an EverStart Maxx Lead Acid Automotive Battery, Group Size H8 / LN5 / 49 12 Volt, 900 CCA at Walmart ST# 05250 in Florida. The store is out of stock of that kind of battery.

In fact, the whole state of Florida is out of stock too. The battery is bad and failed the test. Therefore, it has to be replaced. They told me to deal with the manufacturer.

Now, Walmart has another battery that can fit my car. But they say I can't replace the battery with a similar one; it has to be the same one. Now, here is the situation. Walmart does not have it in stock in their stores.

How can I honour the warranty of the battery if Walmart cannot guarantee the replacement?

I want a new battery replacement or my money back. Thanks for reading my concerns.

I bought a EverStart battery at Walmart about 2 years ago which had a 3 to 5 year warranty on it but was tested by Walmart and it tested defective so they replaced with a EverStart Max 34 which was installed in a 1990 GMC Suburban Snow Plow truck. Was installed on 10/ 5/ 24 and was parked in a garage and not used but on January 7/ 2025 I tried to start the vehicle but the battery was dead so I charged it all night but it still would not charge.

I took the battery back to Walmart and they tested it to be bad.

It must have been a bad battery to start with. But Walmart will not replace it.

Wrong size battery listed for my 2015 nissan versa sv

The computer lists it as a 51r battery. This battery is too wide and too tall for my car.

The correct size is T4 and is available for all everstart batteries.

Check the battery in your car instead of strictly going by the computer in your local walmart store. The online listing at walmart.com was also incorrect.

User's recommendation: Go by the battery that is in your car to ensure the correct fit.
